5 Young Entrepreneur Websites To Follow

When you’re starting out you need advice! It’s that simple. No one is capable of building an empire on their own. We’re all in need of a mentor, peers, and teachers. In fact, I was recently talking to Dave Kerpen and he was telling me about his circle of mentorship.

Here’s a guy who’s experienced and successful, but still he loves good people around him.

HOWEVER, the internet has made it easier for people to connect with one another. Although you need experienced people in your life, it’s vital you network with people in the same stage as yourself. Not only can you connect with potential clients and suppliers, but find people who can help take your ideas from good-to-great.

It’s for this reason I want to share 5 young entrepreneur websites that are an amazing place for people like yourself to frequent. You’ll meet people, pick up ideas, and gain a great deal of expertise.

1: YoungEntrepreneurSociety.org.uk

Young-Entreprneur-Society-ImageCarly Ward was one of my young entrepreneurs to follow recently, and her YES Network is a site all young entrepreneurs can learn from.

There’s a great deal of info and content to be had, and you may meet a few interesting people along the way. This website is certainly worth following and keeping a close eye on.

2: YoungEntrepreneur.com

Young-Entrepreneur-ImageIf you want a website full of news, interviews, and daily pieces of inspiration, this is the place for you. YE is a great site that offers inspiring doses any young entrepreneur can learn from.

You’ll also come across amazing people. It’s hard to fathom just how many great businesses are out there, but YE introduces you to new ones each day. Think of it as an introduction. All you have to do is be proactive and reach out :)

3: Under30CEO.com

Under-30-CEO-ImageThis is another amazing website offering news and interviews galore. It’s hard not to learn from a site like this, and some of the people I’ve come across are brilliant.

It isn’t a place to directly interact with others, but the introductions are there to be had nonetheless. Keep this close to hand and be open to the people it introduces you to.

4: VirginMediaPioneers.com

Virgin-Media-Pioneers-ImageRichard Branson is the Godfather of entrepreneurs, so it should’t be surprising that his empire has a society for the next big ‘thing’. The Pioneers society offers a maze of cool videos, conversations, and competitions. I’ve met some great people through this community, and I’m sure you will too.

It’s certainly worth signing up for (it’s free) and following for a while.

Your-Hidden-Potential-ImageAnother great site for content, news, and views. Seriously, if you can’t learn something from this site I have no idea what to offer you. There are always great interviews, and the profiles they have are superb.

Whether you’re just starting out or have a few years under your belt, I’m sure you can pick up a tip or two. Certainly worth adding to your to-watch list.

Bonus Site: Kickstarter

All good things come with a little extra, so consider this an early Xmas Present. It comes in the form of Kickstarter, the premier Crowdfunding platform on the web. Crowdfunding sites are a great place to find new people, new businesses, and new ideas. I love searching Kickstarter and finding something cool. If you have money to spend, you’ll spend it. If you don’t, you’ll probably still end up spending it :)

On a serious note, this is my go-to place for discovering new and exciting ideas. In my opinion, Crowdfunding is one of the best things to have come about in the last few years
